Q4 2020 Performance of Top Cryptocurrency Apps in Europe

In the fourth quarter of 2020, European cryptocurrency enthusiasts were actively engaging with the top apps in the market, as reported by Sensor Tower. Here's a look at how the leading cryptocurrency apps performed during this period.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto saw a significant increase in downloads and weekly active users (WAUs) throughout the quarter. Starting with nearly 26K downloads in the last week of September, the app surged to over 157K by the end of December. WAUs also rose from 771K to nearly 1.25M in the same timeframe.

For Coinbase: Buy Bitcoin & Ether, the app exhibited a similar upward trajectory. Downloads jumped from around 29K to over 103K, while the WAUs increased from 930K to over 1.15M by the quarter's end.

Crypto.com-Buy Bitcoin,ETH,SOL also experienced growth, albeit at a steadier pace. The app's downloads peaked at nearly 74K in the last week of December, up from 54K at the start of the quarter. Its WAUs showed a consistent increase from 388K to over 512K.

Coinbase Wallet: NFTs & Crypto had a more varied quarter, with downloads reaching a high of over 31K in late November but then dropping to around 20K by the year's end. WAUs saw an overall increase from 52K to over 107K.

Lastly, Blockchain.com: Crypto Wallet showed moderate fluctuations in downloads, peaking at over 25K in November before ending the year at around 16K. WAUs saw a slight increase from 247K to 259K over the quarter.
